Church at the Corner of Court & Wayne Streets, Fremont, Ohio.
Established in 1860
Who We Are
Fremont Trinity was organized in 1860 as the Emanuel Church of Fremont of the Evangelical Association of North America. The Evangelical Church was founded by Jacob Albright in the early 1800’s in eastern Pennsylvania. Many of the congregations were known as “The Albright People.” In addition to Jacob Albright, founder of the Evangelical Church, Otterbein & Boehm were founders of the United Brethren Church. John Wesley was founder of the Methodist Church. These three churches merged to form the United Methodist Church. For more information on our beliefs, Click here.
What That Means For You
You are always welcome at Fremont Trinity United Methodist Church. We are all broken people, but we don’t have to do it alone. Wherever you are in your faith journey, you will always be accepted as a part of our Trinity family.
Mission
“To Know Christ Intimately, To Follow Him Into the World, To Make Disciples”
Vision
United Methodists help one another grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Values
- John Wesley, historic founder of the Methodist movement, succinctly described the plan of discipleship in what he called The General Rules. As Christians, we are to.
- do no harm by avoiding evil of every kind;
- do good to all people;
- attend upon all the ordinances of God like participating in worship, taking Communion, reading the Bible, praying, and more.
